Albertville is home to many locally owned and operated businesses, medical and dental services, a successful industrial park, and one of Minnesota's premier outlet malls. The city also is home to terrific restaurants and retail centers. Local amenities include Cedar Creek Golf Course and the STMA Ice Arena.
Residents enjoy Albertville's many parks, strong local school systems, neighborhood trail systems, and community events such as Farmers Market, the Friendly City Days celebration and Music in the Park. Albertville has a mix of housing options for all ages, including senior living cottages as well as the recent addition of a new assisted living, memory care, and catered living facility.
The City of Albertville is home to an abundance of beautiful community parks. Amenities include playgrounds, tennis and basketball courts, baseball and soccer fields, and gazebos. Some special features in our parks system include a skate park, a fenced-in dog park, and a free, lighted, outdoor hockey rink during winter. The majority of the parks also have walking and biking trails.
Park space is on a first-come, first-served basis. The only spaces that can be reserved are the enclosed shelter and the two softball fields and one baseball field at Central Park. Contact FYCC at 763-496-6820 to reserve park shelter or ball fields.

Central Park is located at 5801 Lander Avenue NE. Park amenities include an enclosed park shelter (warming house in the winter), playground equipment, skate park, gazebo, picnic tables, two softball fields, one baseball field, one full size hockey rink, one half size hockey rink, free skate rink and one basketball court, and green space.
Four Seasons Park is located at 11830 51st Street NE off of Barthel Industrial Drive NE. Park amenities include playground equipment, park shelter, gazebo, basketball court, and two tennis courts.
Hunters Park is located at 7040 69th Circle NE, which is south of 70th Street NE within the Hunters Pass Estates Addition. Park amenities include a playground, gazebo and one basketball court.
Linfield Park (formerly Towne Lakes Park) is located at 6450 West Laketowne Drive NE within the Towne Lakes Development, which is north of I-94. Park amenities include playground equipment, grand gazebo, bituminous trail, and green space.
Linwood Park is located at 11260 West Laketowne Drive NE off of CSAH 19, which is north of the Albertville Premium Outlets. Park amenities include playground equipment, gazebo, one basketball court, tennis court, one soccer field, bituminous trail, and green space.
Lion’s Park Pavilion is located at 5801 Main Avenue NE. Park amenities include a gazebo with picnic tables.
Oakside Park is located at 10820 Kantar Court NE off of Kalland Avenue NE. Park amenities include one baseball field, one soccer field, playground equipment, a bituminous trail and two tennis courts.
Shady Oak Park is located at 6832 Lakewood Drive NE in the Towne Lakes Development and has a wooded trail.
Villas Park is located at 10365 Kali Avenue NE, which is south of CSAH 18 within the Albert Villas Development. Park amenities include one baseball field, gazebo, playground equipment, one soccer field, a bituminous trail and one basketball court.
Westwind Park is located at 10687 Kalland Drive NE. Park amenities include playground equipment, a bituminous trail and green space.
Winter Park is located at 10381 64th Street NE, south of CSAH 37. Park amenities include playground equipment, one ball field, one basketball court, one soccer field a bituminous trail, a wood chip trail and a fenced dog park.
FYCC
FYCC (Family Youth Community Connections) is a nonprofit organization that has been serving the St. Michael-Albertville area since 1999. FYCC is passionate about bringing quality and affordable programs to the community. In partnership with parents and community members, FYCC offers unique programs that promote healthy kids, healthy families, and healthy communities.
FYCC organizes activities and programs throughout the year, including Reading in the Park, Arts in the Park, Father/Daughter Dances, Bingo, etc.

Utility billing is part of the finance division and works closely with the finance division, and works closely with the water, sewer, storm drainage and recycling divisions. The Albertville compost site is available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day, to Albertville residents. The area is exclusively used for organic materials that degrade quickly. This includes grass clippings, leaves, mulch, flowers, weeds, sod and garden waste. Bags must be removed when dumping these items. Small trees less than 3″ in diameter, branches, brush, bushes and other natural wood products are accepted and need to be placed in a separate wood and brush pile at the site.
**Contractors who perform tree and brush services for hire are not permitted to use the site. No dumping of stumps, oversized tree trunks, lumber, rocks, clay, spoils from excavation, concrete bituminous or any other non-organic material. Dumping of garbage, petroleum products, chemicals, electronic equipment, appliances and other inorganic items is prohibited.
Directions:
Located off of CSAH 37 east towards Otsego, simply turn left onto MacIver Avenue NE, then go about 1/2 mile on MacIver and watch for signage for the compost site that is located on the left hand side.

The City of Albertville is proud to offer recycling to its residents. The City contracts with Republic Services for recycling services. The recycling is emptied every other Thursday.
PLEASE NOTE: Only items placed inside recycling carts will be collected. And additional boxes, bags, etc. outside of the recycling cart will not be picked up.

Winter Placement Guidelines
New Residents
Recycling carts are typically left at the property when someone moves out. Please verify you don’t already have a cart before requesting one. There are three size options for recycling cart and pick up is every two weeks. If you need more information or have questions, please contact City Hall at 763-497-3384, ext. 2.
CEDAR CREEK GOLF COURSE
Set on the outskirts of Albertville, Cedar Creek offers 18 holes of championship golf over beautiful rolling fairways, challenging greens, and a great player-friendly atmosphere for any age or ability. Cedar Creek is STMA's community golf course, which also features a great new state-of-the-art practice facility. Built in 1999, Cedar Creek is a popular destination for many golfers, young and old. Several leagues throughout the week are offered for people of all ages and abilities.
CENTRAL PARK
Farmers Market
Thursdays in June, July, and August
Each Thursday in summer, the Albertville Lions sponsor the Farmers Market beginning at 3p.m. and live music from 5-7p.m., featuring local artists playing a wide variety of music. The Lions offer limited concessions including brats, hot dogs, chips, and refreshments throughout the market.
In addition, the Albertville Lions and other local businesses host a Summer Concert Series every other Thursday through August from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to enjoy these free concerts featuring regional bands.
Classic Car Shows are held periodically throughout the summer from 5-7 p.m. These shoes are for local collectors to showcase their classics. There is no charge to enter these events and everyone is welcome to attend.
The Power of Produce program will also be part of the Market. Each child will receive a $2 token to purchase fruits and vegetables at participating vendors from July-August. This program is sponsored in part by FYCC, the Albertville Lions, and local businesses.
CROW RIVER SENIOR CENTER
The Senior Center is a place for seniors to meet others, gather for fun and information, and enjoy varied activities, trips, health opportunities, education, and recreation. There are no membership fees. The Center is open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. The Senior Center publishes a newsletter every other month that lists the activities and events sponsored by the Center.

GREAT RIVER REGIONAL LIBRARY
The Albertville, Hanover, St. Michael Library is a fully accessible library in the City Center Building (11800 Town Center Dr NE, Suite 100). Great River Regional Library (GRRL) system serves 32 branch libraries in six counties in Central Minnesota. GRRL develops, organizes and makes available over 1 million items for check-out and offers information, community-focused services, lifelong learning opportunities and enrichment programming currently serving over $125,000 registered borrowers.
LOCAL SHOPPING
Albertville is a major shopping destination and attracts more than four million people annually. There are a number of local shops, both retail chains and small-town businesses, that cater to residents and to drivers making their way along the interstate.
Albertville Premium Outlets: The outlet mall is located just north of the I-94 corridor. Visit the mall to shop 65+ stores with a wide variety of products.
Shop STMA: Shop STMA is THE local business organization servicing Albertville and St. Michael businesses. The goal is to promote the value, convenience and personalized service of shopping local. All businesses in Albertville and St. Michael are encouraged to participate. Monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesday of each month at 3 p.m. Locations vary. STMA ICE ARENA
The ice arena is owned by STMA ISD 885 and the cities of St. Michael and Albertville. The three entities equally own the original sheet of ice through a bond referendum. The ice arena is utilized by the district's high school boys and girls hockey teams as well as the STMA youth hockey program. The arena hosts tournaments, summer camps, games, practices, open skate/hockey, and private rentals.
